As a Machine Learning Engineer on Plaid’s Fraud Data team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of fraud prevention. You’ll develop new features and machine learning models that enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of our fraud detection systems, while building reliable data and model pipelines to power both experimentation and production workflows.

You’ll fine-tune state-of-the-art models, design evaluation frameworks, and bring AI features into production. Your work ensures our models are not only intelligent, but also safe, trustworthy, and impactful at scale. You'll operate across the stack, from backend logic and integration to frontend delivery, building intelligent systems that scale fast and matter deeply.

We are looking for an AI Engineer who combines deep knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) with strong software engineering skills and a pragmatic approach to product development. This person will help us design, build and deploy AI-powered features across Shape App and Channels, working closely with the Product and SRE Teams to define optimal solutions and ensure they run reliably in production.
